A Christian is a worker and a servant. Here are six biblical exhortations to serve. Like the servants in the parable of the talents, we work to share in our master’s blessings!
1. For we are His workmanship, created in Christ Jesus unto good works… that we should walk in them (Eph 2:10).
2. …Be ye steadfast, unmovable, always abounding in the work of the Lord… (1 Cor 15:58)
3. …The Son of Man came not to be ministered unto, but to minister and to give His life as a ransom for many (Mark 10:45).
4. …Ye also ought to wash one another’s feet. For I have given you an example, that ye should do as I have done to you (John 13:14-15).
5. …Ye sent time and again unto my needs (Phil 4:16)
6. …Minister the same one to another as good stewards of the manifold grace of God (1 Pet 4:10).
